“The girl who lives inside” My piece for the Shape/Shift exhibition, that took place yesterday in Antwerp, Belgium at the Designcenter de Winkelhaak.
I’m pleased to announce that I’m taking part on this fantastic show, thanks to Inkygoodness for inviting me.
“When We Were Young” is a show curated by Bruce Parker, it will feature a collection of nostalgic artwork from a range of international artists including me.
The artists were given an open brief to be as free as when they were young and doodle, draw, paint or do whatever they wanted inspired on their younger years, whether it be toys, games, books, music, experiences, role models, etc.
On october 1st there was an exhibition that involved some boxes painted by invited artists. All the profits made out from the selling of the boxes were for UNOP, an asosiation that helps children with cancer. fortunately my box was sold and I was able to help with the cause :) It feels really nice to help others with what you love to do.
This is a piece I made with Reggalado for last week’s exhibition “Aqui esToy” that took place in the gallery of the Alliance Française here in Guatemala. It’s like a book who represents the imaginary friends of the childhood.
